The My Lai massacre was the mass murder of between 347 (US estimate) - 504 (Vietnamese estimate) unarmed citizens in Quang Ngai province on March 16, 1968 in the American War. We offer this trip to educate visitors about this tragic part of Vietnamese history.

At 8:00am depart from Pham Gia Homestay to Son My. On the way there is a quick stop at Dien Dan tower – the same kind of Champa temple as My Son. Around 11:00am reach the My Lai Masscre site and visit the My Lai monument - the site where American troops cruelly massacred the local people. Our guide will show you evidence of the massacre such as photos, shirts, a pair of sandals of a killed child, all kinds of cups and plates, cookers….all of these will stir deep feelings in your heart.
At noon go to My Khe beach to enjoy seafood in a local restaurant before returning to Hoi An. The tour finishes at around 16:00.
